Hello Friends!

Sometimes in the lectionary we get parables with beautiful imagery, and sometimes we get a reading like today.  Today’s section of Luke is taken out of context and is frankly a little confusing, if you take it alone.  This is why you should always read the portion of the text that precede and follow any selection.  Take a listen:
