Hello Friends,

Here is Billerica, MA on Saturday the 15th we had the annual Yankee Doodle Homecoming.  What is that, you might ask?  It is a town wide celebration and festival with parade, booths, activities, and Revolutionary War re-enactors.  (Here are some photos from the Lowell Sun: http://photos.lowellsun.com/2018/09/16/yankee-doodle-homecoming/#1)  Billerica is known officially as “America’s Yankee Doodle Town” because it is thought that the song Yankee Doodle may have originated here, but we are not 100% sure.

St. Anne’s had a booth at the festival and we had a great time talking to neighbors, sharing, and playing bean bag toss with the kids.  My little guy was also in attendance and he charmed everyone.  I know call him the “Mayor of Yankee Doodle,” haha.  Here are some of my photos, if you are in town next September, check it out!
