Hello Friends!
This week’s story from Luke is about the persistent widow, who begs an unjust judge for justice until he finally gives in and grants it. This passage seems a little bit all over the place. Luke states at the beginning that it is about Jesus teaching the disciples about prayer, but then in the middle it talks a lot about justice, with the confrontation between the vulnerable widow and the power-wielding judge. Then it ends with God’s promise of justice and a question about faith. That is quite a lot for only 8 verses.
