Hello Friends!
This weekend was very busy. Here is the Diocese of Long Island we had our 148th Convention, and Fr. Kenny and I were in attendance. We had a great time and a post with pictures will come along shortly.
Sunday’s reading from Matthew was the so called Parable of the Talents, which is a particularly long and difficult passage, especially on a Sunday with a baptism! Since we had a baptism, you will hear a lot of “audience participation” in this sermon in the form of some crying kids, one shrieking one year old, and a lot of laughing adults. I chose not to edit it out, because I love hearing the sounds of children in church, and the reactions of the adults; it makes the place come alive! So, check it out:
Matthew 25:14-30 Proper 28, Year A, Nov. 16, 2014
Thanks for stopping by!
